Michael Woodcroft

Director

With over 40 years of expertise in the industry, Michael started as a meat carter in 1982. Working his way through sales and management to eventually take over his family’s meat freighting business in 1986. After years of transporting for Wilmeat, Michael became part of the company in 2012, shaping its vision and operations with his deep industry knowledge and commitment to quality.

George Woodcroft

Director

George Woodcroft joined Wilmeat in 2003, starting hands-on with unloading pigs before moving into sales and launching the wholesale department. He initiated Wilmeat’s first farmer relationships, building the foundation for today’s strong partnerships. In 2019, George became a co-owner, driving the company’s vision for quality and collaboration.

Dean Jenkins

Wholesale Manager

Dean has been with Wilmeat for 17 years, starting as a meat labourer and working alongside George to expand the wholesale department. After transitioning to on-the-road sales, he became Wholesale Manager in 2014. Today, Dean oversees Wilmeat’s largest sector, directly managing relationships with over 50% of the company’s clientele.

Michael Gilpin

Business Development Manager

With decades of experience in the meat industry, Michael Gilpin has held key roles at Coles and Primo Smallgoods, driving innovations in standards and operations. Starting in a butcher shop at 14, he’s focused on building strong partnerships and delivering tailored solutions for diverse customer needs. His expertise spans everything from retail to manufacturing, always prioritising quality and efficiency.

Josephine Miazzi

Financial Controller

With over 30 years of experience in the pork industry, Josephine has spent more than a decade at Wilmeat, building strong relationships with farmers, suppliers, and customers. A Fellow of the Institute of Public Accountants (IPA), she played a pivotal role in Wilmeat’s expansion to a second facility, leveraging her extensive industry knowledge.

Stephanie Miazzi

Junior Accountant / Marketing Head

Stephanie joined Wilmeat at 19, gaining valuable industry experience early in her career. After earning a double degree in marketing and accounting in 2024, she became the driving force behind Wilmeat’s growth initiatives, leading a transformative rebrand and innovative marketing strategies. Her efforts are shaping the company’s future and supporting Wilmeat’s mission to foster a sustainable tomorrow for Australia’s pork industry.
